Navigating the circus

In the office, I must confess,

I’ve met a senior, quite a mess.

With each directive, they seem to blunder,

Leaving me to wonder, “Am I the thunder?”

They micromanage with zest and flair,

As if my coffee mug deserves their care.

But I take it in stride, oh so dandy,

Dealing with them, it’s like working with candy.

With their misplaced confidence, they’ll lead,

Though I’m not sure where they’re taking the lead.

But I nod and smile, don’t cause a fuss,

For dealing with their antics is a must.

With a title so grand and a brain so small,

In the end, it’s just a comical race,

As I navigate the senior’s workplace.

I’ve learned to chuckle, not to resent,

For in their idiosyncrasies, my merriment is spent.
