Good Deeds Day!
Good Deeds Day is an annual tradition of good deeds. Millions of people around the world choose to volunteer and help others, putting into practice the simple idea that every single person can do something good, no matter how big or small to improve the lives of others and positively change the world.
The aim of Good Deeds Day:
The idea is to simply do good by encouraging and involving as many people possible to come together and spread positivity. By doing this we not just improve the life of others but also make ourselves better with each deed. Thus, creating a chain of happiness!
How to get involved:
Good Deeds Day in collaboration with iVolunteer comes to India for the first time this year on 2nd April 2017. You can either join an organisation as a volunteer and perform good deeds based on their activities that may be of interest to you or you can simply choose/create your own good deed and ‘go solo’ with the initiative. Capturing moments or even a short video showcasing your activity can be helpful to promote the effect of Good Deeds Day campaign.
When and Where:
Good deeds are not restricted to a specific area or a location. People/organisations participating in it can choose to perform it at a venue of their choice. Some of these, for example, could be in an office, a nearby park, on a street, a garden or even at/near your place of residence/work.
