Meet Mrs. Prarthana Prateek Kaul, a cause marketer, motivational trainer, consultant & co-founder of GiftAbled. She started GiftAbled as a social enterprise which strives to create an ecosystem of like-minded individuals and collectively build a disabled-friendly, just, sensitive and healthy society. A multi-talented, multi-skilled woman with a decade long experience in the development sector, she has been challenging gender roles ever since!
In a recent discussion with her, we asked her questions on Gender equality and women’s role in the society, and this is what she had to say:

  • What inspired you to make the decision of getting into the social sector?

The passion for working in the social sector has always been my inspiration. When you work in the corporate sector, volunteering can only happen on the weekends which for me isn’t enough, because I wanted to do so much more!

  • How difficult is to manage your professional and personal life since you work in the social sector?

Not as difficult as it seems actually. My family has been a great support all this while. They understand my motive and passion for doing things!

  • Would you recommend other women to also work in the social sector?

I highly recommend other women to join the social sector!

  • What is your definition of #PowerInYou?

#PowerInYou for me is to have a connection with my own self and others. This helps me to follow my passion!

Let’s accelerate gender parity through purposeful collaboration and help women advance and unleash the limitless potential offered to economies the world over.
