A visual of that emotional scene comes to my mind, where I eventually had to wave goodbye to my loved place. My heart was crying loudly while leaving my most comfortable boundary for the very next time. I still remember the movement when a small notification with a green icon was alerting my phone. It was a moment of joy and excitement at every initial stage but gradually I could realize the conversion of joy into sadness and excitement into nervousness.
Although there was continuous back support from every near and dear one something was hitting hard from the inside. Every morning waking up and preparing myself confident and excited for the journey was sometimes tough and sometimes interesting. In between the hectic management schedule, I got added to our cohort group where most of them were new names. Got in touch with many new people and built a virtual friendship with many new faces that doubled my excitement.
Finally, the day came when I had to leave my love place “Kolkata.” I still remember that Uber journey with my family, where we all were in complete silence just string out of the window. The rush, the traffic control, the road we were crossing, the Howrah Bridge, and all other small elements were recalling my golden memories, the struggles, the learning and unlearning of life. On reaching the station we understood that our train was delayed by 1hr which little sad but had no option. As we made ourselves comfortable, we noticed that the complete compartment was filled with passengers traveling to Pune. This was quite cool for us as we could interact with each other. It was sharp at 11:10 pm when the train started from the station. It was the 28th morning when we finally reached the Pune station. A completely new place with new dreams and most importantly the Ganpati celebration.
29th was the date when we all first entered the training center and introduced ourselves to our new roommates. Super excited for the next day’s training which started with an amazing activity session. Now it makes me feel that training days were too amazing and memorable. The introductory session where I would realize knowing name or identity is not the initial stage of communication. We can randomly communicate with anyone and eventually know about the particular person in a very unique manner. The expectation level was set to the utmost level making the training more interesting and innovative. The unfilled bag was filled with many new memories and interactions understanding the creative concept of development and field management. Every session was arranged in a manner where self-exploring bit by bit was practiced and improving our capacity was done by us.
Finally came the day when we were allotted a completely new project location with our supportive fellow mates. Here starts a completely new chapter of life with numerous nervousness, excitement, and questions roaming all around my head. It was around 16th October when our journey came from Mumbai station all seven of us were in the same compartment having a lot of conversations about the last few days and the upcoming days. Finally, it was morning 7:00 -7:30 when we reached our Buwaneshwar station people rushing all around three different cars waiting for different groups of people. On choosing our “Shift Desire” the journey began for our final destiny Barbil Jajang. It was around a 7-8 hrs journey from Buwaneshwar observing different combinations of natural and manmade beauty along the roadside. The entire journey was covered in a manner having conversation with our driver uncle, a small nap, looking for food while hungry, and lastly noticing the double-sided forest and the temperature rate getting down.
The transition from a busy city Kolkata to a silent village Jajang Barbil. Which is worldwide famous for its iron ore was quite drastic. The morning begins with a sharp mountain view which is mainly a mining area. The place completely has a different dynamist where fluctuating schedules are maintained for the transportation process, most people are connected to the mining profession.
The community mostly comprises tribal communities having variety in their ecological system and daily plan of life. But must accept the place contributes a lot to society a lot which can never be rewarded back yet taking care of the place is most important at the end of the come. Hope you like reading this blog and will come up with many new blogs in the upcoming days.
